Legal Biz Improvement on the Horizon? →
The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the demand for legal services increased in the 4th quarter of 2010 for the first time in more than two years (!) according to a report released today by Hildebrandt Baker Robbins, which surveyed more than 100 large and medium-sized law firms in the U.S. and abroad.
Question is, will this simply translate to more profits for Partners in BigLaw or will...

Lawyers of the Day: ‘Scum Sucking Loser’ and... →
Funny, and sad, Above the Law article about email exchange between two Florida attorneys on opposite sides of a Volkswagen warranty claim suit. Things get pretty tenuous and I’m not impressed with the way either conducted themselves… so word of caution to all you lawyers, young and old out there, be careful about what you say and write in email, and take the high road.
